H.L. Blachford Ltd. Acquires the Slab Dips & Coatings Business of Memphis Solutions Company, a Subsidiary of The Hallstar Company

CHICAGO, IL & MISSISSAUGA, Canada, May 30, 2017: Memphis Solutions Company, a subsidiary of The Hallstar Company, and H.L. Blachford Ltd. are pleased to announce the acquisition of the Hallstar Dips and Coatings business by Blachford. Blachford and Memphis Solutions have entered into a manufacturing agreement for these grades to ensure the seamless and orderly transition of this business so customers will continue to experience on-time supply of quality products. Representatives from Blachford will be contacting customers during the next several weeks to confirm customer requirements and to advise transition details and timing.
H.L. Blachford Ltd. was founded in Montreal in 1921 by Henry Lloyd Blachford and has grown its operations to include manufacturing sites in the USA, Canada and the UK. Blachford manufactures stearate based products for a variety of industries including rubber, tire, powdered metal, plastics, PVC, food, wire drawing and metal working.
