Blachford Inc. Named Recipient of PACCAR’s 10 PPM Quality Award

For the 3^rd time in 4 years, Blachford Incorporated (West Chicago, IL) has been named a recipient of PACCAR’s 10 PPM Quality Award.  The award is presented to PACCAR suppliers that complete a quality score of 10 PPM (parts per million) or lower.  It also takes into consideration the approval and warranty use of the end customer.  This award is a testament to Blachford Acoustics Group’s continued commitment to quality at all levels throughout the organization.

PACCAR is among the world’s largest manufacturers of medium and heavy duty trucks.  The company is made up of subsidiaries Peterbilt, Kenworth and DAF, brands known worldwide for their unparalleled quality.  When speaking about PACCAR’s 10 PPM Suppliers, Debra Poppas, Vice President of Global Quality, had this to say, “To achieve elite 10 PPM status, PACCAR’s outstanding suppliers need best-in-class product design and process capabilities, and just as important, a quality-focused culture.”
