Blachford Inc. Presented Masters of Quality Award from Daimler Trucks

Blachford Inc. (West Chicago, IL) of the Blachford Acoustics Group has been named a recipient of Daimler Trucks North America’s Masters of Quality Award for 2019.  A limited number of suppliers are chosen for this award each year and this is the 4^th time the facility has received this honor, and the 2^nd time in the last 3 years (2013, 2014, 2017).

According to Daimler’s website, the annual program recognizes outstanding suppliers that have received high scores based on their quality, delivery, technology and cost performance as measured on a Balanced Scorecard basis. These suppliers demonstrate dedication to continuous improvement of the quality of their products, support to DTNA and overall performance. In an email announcing the award, Ken Pyne, Daimler’s Manager of Supplier Quality, stated “I want express our deep appreciation for making Quality a top priority.”
