Blachford Inc. Receives PACCAR’s 10 PPM Quality Award for 2nd Year in a Row

For the 4^th time in 5 years and 2^nd year in a row, Blachford Incorporated (West Chicago, IL) has been named a recipient of PACCAR’s 10 PPM Quality Award.  Each year, this award is presented to PACCAR suppliers that complete a quality score of 10 PPM (parts per million) or lower. Currently, Blachford Inc. has over 18 months and counting without a defective part delivered to PACCAR.

PACCAR is among the world’s largest manufacturers of medium and heavy-duty trucks.  The company is made up of subsidiaries Peterbilt, Kenworth and DAF, brands known worldwide for their unparalleled quality.

When speaking about PACCAR’s 10 PPM Suppliers, Debra Poppas, Vice President of Global Quality, had this to say, “To achieve 10 ppm status during such a challenging year is a remarkable achievement, The performance of these suppliers speaks highly of the value of leveraging robust processes and a strong quality culture to perform at an elite level.”
