CHEMDRAW 644-N DAG
CHEMDRAW® 644 N DAG is a soluble dry lubricant for drawing ferrous wire after it's been galvanized. It delivers a bright silver finish on galvanized wire and is designed to provide improved rust protection.
APPLICATIONS
Drawn after Galvanizing (DAG); HDG or EG: CHEMDRAW 644 N DAG gives bright silver finish that can be washed with hot water to give an extra clean finish.
Pre-Galvanized or Pre-Plated Wire: CHEMDRAW 644 N DAG gives an excellent finish on high and low carbon wire.
Nail Wire and Cold Heading Stock: CHEMDRAW 644 N DAG works very well with lime and borax coatings. It is excellent for applications where parts will be subsequently plated.
Welding Wire and Rod: CHEMDRAW 644 N DAG can be used with mechanically descaled welding rod on one to four drafts. Typically, it is used in the first two or three boxes, depending on the required finish.
